Free Healthy Home Repairs and Weatherization for Qualified Families

The City of Cleveland Department of Public Health’s Lead Safe Living-Healthy Homes program offers lead hazard control grants to income-eligible households that have a child under six living in the home or visiting more than 20 hours/week. To enroll, fill out the grant application. The Cuyahoga County Healthy Home Initiative offers free home repairs to income-eligible households that have an infant under one year, an asthmatic child under 16 years, or an adult over 65 years with asthma/a chronic respiratory condition living in the home. Repairs may include: specialized cleaning, furnace/hot water tank repairs, removal of water damaged materials, and insulation installation. To apply, complete the health status/eligibility form.
