EPA Issues New Guidelines for Home Energy Upgrades

EPA, 11/17/11- The EPA has released new guidelines for home energy upgrades that aim to protect the health of residents. The Healthy Indoor Environment Protocols for Home Energy Upgrades report provides insight to properly identifying, managing, and reducing health risks during energy efficiency work. While energy upgrades can save homeowners money on utilities, they can also induce or aggravate health problems if precautions aren’t taken.
