Glenville’s Lakeshore Plant

In its Jul. 2011 report “Coal Blooded: Putting Profits before People in Ohio“, the NAACP ranked Glenville’s coal-fired Lakeshore Plant as the country’s 6th most harmful plant for low-income and minority communities. In a grade based on environmental justice measures, the plant received an F. More than 103,000 people live within 3 miles of the plant. Read the Plain Dealer article about the plant here.
