Cockroach Control Guide
English- Black and White or Color; Spanish- Black and White or Color
Many
houses have problems with cockroaches. And many people with asthma
are allergic to "roach dust" - roach body parts and roach droppings
that can trigger asthma attacks. For years, cockroaches have
defeated our best efforts to get rid of them. Now we understand
there are better methods and safer products that really work to
get rid of roaches and the asthma triggers they leave behind.

Moisture
is both a blessing and a curse. When you have just what you

But when you have too much, your buildings can fail in many ways
that can not only damage the structure but affect your health and
well-being. The information in this guide by Jim LaRue will help you keep
moisture in your house at acceptable and healthy levels.
Prompts for Healthy Habits (go to prompt page for download)
A prompt is a cue that reminds us to carry out an action we might otherwise forget to do. We often do not take action for the simple reason that we forget. Prompts are helpful when people are already predisposed to doing an activity and just need to be reminded to do it.
EHW and artist Ralph Solonitz developed these prompts for a project in partnership with Alliance for Health Housing and Cleveland Tenants Organization (funded by US EPA and the Cleveland Foundation). The project helps older people deal with housing related health hazards.
