Tradition Safety - control, contain and mitigate hazards.

Inherent Safety - eliminate or significantly reduce hazards.

•  Minimize : Use smaller quantities of hazardous material and lower.

•  Substitute : Replace with a less hazardous substance.

•  Moderate : Use under less hazardous conditions (e.g., use at ambient temperature and pressure) or use a less hazardous form of a material.

•  Simplify : Eliminate unnecessary complexity to make operating errors less likely and design systems that are more forgiving of errors.
